Lifestyle Medicine has been established as a speciality in 2004 by the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and the Diploma is now certified in the UK by the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine. It aims to recognise the upstream causes of health and focus on you as a whole person and not just the disease. It is proven to be helpful in treatment of chronic illnesses like obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes and even depression, among others.

Seeing a Lifestyle Private GP will help you get better by looking into your sleep, your diet, effect of stress and your physical activity and improve your health without necessarily using medication.

In addition, Dr Morton holds a doctorate degree in Immunology and Autoimmune disease/Inflammation and she has published in high impact peer-reviewed journals including Nature Immunology. This allows her to appreciate the importance of research in health and wellbeing and implement this knowledge in her clinical practice.

Had a great experience. The staff was extremely accommodating and professional. Also, due to traffic, I was late to the appointment and yet they stayed beyond work hours to see me. Highly recommend. A++

Thorough and Professional GP Consultation I recently had a consultation and bloods taken with a Glasgow Medical Rooms Doctor, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From start to finish, the level of care and attention was outstanding. The Doctor took the time to listen to my concerns thoroughly, ensuring every detail was noted and addressed. Their advice was clear, practical, and tailored specifically to my needs. I appreciated the way they explained my options, providing a balanced perspective that helped me feel informed and confident in making decisions about my health. What stood out most was their professionalism. They were approachable and reassuring, while maintaining a high standard of medical expertise. It was clear they genuinely cared about my well-being, and their opinion was both insightful and comforting. Overall, I left the consultation feeling supported and confident in the care I received. I highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking a professional and patient-centered experience.
