Dr Julie Browning

Dr Browning is an experienced GP with over 20 years’ experience of service in the NHS. She graduated from Glasgow Medical School in 2004 and qualified as a GP in 2008.

Dr Browning enjoys the variety that general practice brings. She has a particular interest in women’s health and how lifestyle factors and stress can influence and impact overall health and well-being. She also has a passion for teaching and has been a vocational studies / communication skills tutor at Glasgow Medical School since 2010. Committed to patient centred care, Dr Browning strives to meet and support you wherever you are on your health/wellness journey.

  Yesterday was my 3rd visit to Glasgow Medical Rooms since 2001for Eng1 seafarers medicals.It is always a most pleasant experience,staff are all very nice and the nurses and Dr Sheila are very relaxing and helpful,putting me at ease throughout what can be a stressful experience for some.

  A professional and caring service from start to finish at the Glasgow Medical Rooms. I recently underwent a lifestyle assessment with the incredible Dr Olga Morton. She was extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and proactive throughout our time together and has a real passion for preventive, lifestyle medicine. I was delighted with the service which focused on my wellbeing and has set out a clear bespoke plan going forward. The whole team were kind and responsive providing excellent communication.   Had a great experience. The staff was extremely accommodating and professional. Also, due to traffic, I was late to the appointment and yet they stayed beyond work hours to see me. Highly recommend. A++

  Thorough and Professional GP Consultation I recently had a consultation and bloods taken with a Glasgow Medical Rooms Doctor, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From start to finish, the level of care and attention was outstanding. The Doctor took the time to listen to my concerns thoroughly, ensuring every detail was noted and addressed. Their advice was clear, practical, and tailored specifically to my needs. I appreciated the way they explained my options, providing a balanced perspective that helped me feel informed and confident in making decisions about my health. What stood out most was their professionalism. They were approachable and reassuring, while maintaining a high standard of medical expertise.   I would like to thank the staff at Glasgow Medical Rooms. In particular Chris Wicks who is ultra professional and helped me over the last several weeks with a hip injury. I am now relatively pain free and now look forward to the new year. Highly recommended.
