Mr Ertan Erel

Elanic welcomes Mr. Ertan Erel to our surgical team. Mr. Erel is a consultant Plastic Surgeon who has been working at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire.

Mr. Erel graduated from Aegean University in Turkey before completing his junior surgical training in East Yorkshire and plastic surgery training in the West Midlands area. Mr. Erel has also spent time within the research field of plastic surgery and was awarded an MSc degree by the esteemed University College London.

He is internationally renowned in his field, with 25 journal articles and 48 presentations. He has written a chapter in a plastic surgery book called Breast Reconstruction: Art, Science, And New Clinic Technique in 2016.

Mr. Erel has multiple fellowships, including cosmetic surgery in Istanbul & microsurgery in Gent, Izmir, and Cambridge (one year). Mr. Erel is also fully registered with the GMC; the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS); and the Turkish Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (TSAPS).

His special interests include breast reconstruction, with particular emphasis on perforator free flap (DIEP flap) in the microsurgical reconstruction of the breast, skin cancer, and cosmetic surgery. With Elanic, Mr. Erel will be specialising in body contouring (smart liposuction and fat grafting), breast procedures, facial plastic surgery, and rhinoplasty surgery.

Appointment Cancellations

At least 48 hours notice (before the start of your appointment) is required for free cancellation or re-arrangement. If you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice charges may apply.

If you cancel with less than 48 hours until your appointment, any pre-payment collected by Elanic Clinic will not be refundable.

Appointment Rescheduling

If re-schedule appointments within 48 (working) hours, there will be a re-scheduling fee due which will be the same as your initial pre-payment amount. Where no pre-payment has been taken a charge of £50 may be applied in order to confirm your re-scheduled appointment.

Lateness

We regret, that we cannot guarantee your appointment slot if you do not arrive on time. We will try our hardest to fit you into the schedule, but this may not always be possible. If we are unable to fulfil your appointment because you have not arrived on time, it may not always be possible to receive a full refund for your pre-payment or deposit.

Missed Appointments

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please do let us know. Should you miss your appointment without letting us know 48 (working) hours in advance, we may not be able to provide a full refund for your pre-payment or deposit. For re-scheduling appointments where you have missed your appointment, there will be a re-scheduling fee due which will be the same as your initial pre-payment amount. Where no pre-payment has been taken a charge of £50 may be applied in order to confirm your re-scheduled appointment.
