Mr Christopher Wicks

Chris is lead Sports Physiotherapist in an established independent Physiotherapy Practice. Chris has extensive experience in musculoskeletal and occupational health physio as well as work with professional sports people including the Scottish Football Association.

He holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Physiotherapy and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. Through a previous role he has extensive experience with healthcare insurance providers and telehealth services.

Alongside his own work, he works with a large multinational company providing Glasgow physiotherapy care, works for the Scottish Football Association and works as an injruy prevention consultant for athletes.

  Yesterday was my 3rd visit to Glasgow Medical Rooms since 2001for Eng1 seafarers medicals.It is always a most pleasant experience,staff are all very nice and the nurses and Dr Sheila are very relaxing and helpful,putting me at ease throughout what can be a stressful experience for some.

  A professional and caring service from start to finish at the Glasgow Medical Rooms. I recently underwent a lifestyle assessment with the incredible Dr Olga Morton. She was extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and proactive throughout our time together and has a real passion for preventive, lifestyle medicine. I was delighted with the service which focused on my wellbeing and has set out a clear bespoke plan going forward. The whole team were kind and responsive providing excellent communication.   Thorough and Professional GP Consultation I recently had a consultation and bloods taken with a Glasgow Medical Rooms Doctor, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From start to finish, the level of care and attention was outstanding. The Doctor took the time to listen to my concerns thoroughly, ensuring every detail was noted and addressed. Their advice was clear, practical, and tailored specifically to my needs. I appreciated the way they explained my options, providing a balanced perspective that helped me feel informed and confident in making decisions about my health.   I would like to thank the staff at Glasgow Medical Rooms. In particular Chris Wicks who is ultra professional and helped me over the last several weeks with a hip injury. I am now relatively pain free and now look forward to the new year. Highly recommended.
