Dr Astrid Bennett

Dr Bennett is an accomplished GP and Dermatology Specialty Doctor who has worked in the NHS for over 25 years.

She graduated from Glasgow University in 1993 and practiced in New Zealand and London before returning to Scotland.

After working as a GP Partner in Lanarkshire, Dr Bennett has extensive experience in all areas of family medicine with a wide breadth of knowledge. She is able to provide diagnostic and management skills in cutaneous medicine, as well as some procedures such as keloid or alopecia injections. A member of the Primary Care Dermatology Society, she has contributed towards research and teaching students in clinical settings.

She is adaptable and proactive in response to evolving healthcare needs for targeted, dependable clinician support.

  Yesterday was my 3rd visit to Glasgow Medical Rooms since 2001for Eng1 seafarers medicals.It is always a most pleasant experience,staff are all very nice and the nurses and Dr Sheila are very relaxing and helpful,putting me at ease throughout what can be a stressful experience for some.

  A professional and caring service from start to finish at the Glasgow Medical Rooms. I recently underwent a lifestyle assessment with the incredible Dr Olga Morton. She was extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and proactive throughout our time together and has a real passion for preventive, lifestyle medicine. I was delighted with the service which focused on my wellbeing and has set out a clear bespoke plan going forward. The whole team were kind and responsive providing excellent communication.
