Dr Astrid Bennett

Dr Bennett is an accomplished GP and Dermatology Specialty Doctor who has worked in the NHS for over 25 years.

She graduated from Glasgow University in 1993 and practiced in New Zealand and London before returning to Scotland.

After working as a GP Partner in Lanarkshire, Dr Bennett has extensive experience in all areas of family medicine with a wide breadth of knowledge. She is able to provide diagnostic and management skills in cutaneous medicine, as well as some procedures such as keloid or alopecia injections. A member of the Primary Care Dermatology Society, she has contributed towards research and teaching students in clinical settings.

She is adaptable and proactive in response to evolving healthcare needs for targeted, dependable clinician support.

  I had an excellent experience in the medical room. The space was clean, well-organized, and fully equipped. The staff were professional, caring, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time.   ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars We recently visited Glasgow Medical Rooms, and the experience was excellent. Dr. Sheila and all the staff were highly professional, friendly, and caring. The blood test, urine test, and medical examination were carried out efficiently and comfortably. We are very pleased with the service we received.   Very aesthetically welcoming practice with a pleasant, friendly receptionist and a comfortable waiting room. Extremely professional and caring experience with Dr Sharkey who made me feel comfortable discussing some difficult issues. Assessment was thorough, I did not feel rushed and I left the appointment feeling calm, positive and informed. Overall, a great experience, therefore I would not hesitate to return to or recommend this practice.
